What GiftMyJob does not collect

GiftMyJob does not ask for or collect any personal or payment information. There is no account, no sign-in, and no email signup needed to use the gift finder, quizzes, checklists, planners, or shops.

Amazon Associates disclosure

As an Amazon Associate, GiftMyJob earns from qualifying purchases. Links marked “(paid link)” are affiliate links. GiftMyJob does not sell products and does not handle checkout, payment, shipping, or returns.

When you click a paid link

A paid link takes you to Amazon or another retailer. Once you are on that site, its own privacy policy applies, and it may use cookies to track that you arrived from GiftMyJob so the referral can be credited. GiftMyJob does not receive your name, address, or payment details from those purchases.

Click counts

When you click a link to a store, the site's server records a simple anonymous log line: the page you were on, the store, the product ID, and your approximate country. It does not include your name, email, or IP address, and GiftMyJob does not set tracking or advertising cookies.

Hosting

GiftMyJob runs on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and keep it secure. Fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google may receive your IP address.

On your device

The gift finder, quizzes, checklists, and planners run in your browser. On the home page and the shop pages, your answers and checkmarks are not saved or sent anywhere; they clear when you leave the page. A few older pages keep small preferences in your browser’s local storage, such as saved items, recently viewed items, or a display setting. That data stays on your device and is never sent to GiftMyJob. A couple of older tool pages may set a short-lived functional cookie to finish a step; it is not used for tracking.

Children

GiftMyJob is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
